Agenda Items for Thursday April 27th


27 Apr

*Grad letter with information about tickets and parking was sent home today

*please continue to bring in health letters

Math– toy truck assignment- task #3 should be complete by tomorrow; official construction time starts then.  We are looking at next Friday as a tentative due date (will be confirmed on Monday)

Science– bring your stuff for your boats

French– Kahoot project

History– tomorrow we will be reviewing how to write intros and conclusions.  Your rough draft of your 3 body paragraphs should be done

Orienteering Team– please be on time for school tomorrow (bus leaves at 9:15).  Make sure you pack appropriate clothing to be outside all day, food/water ($ for food trucks, if you wish), sunscreen/a hat, a whistle (if you have one)

Health– Growth & Development information form was sent home yesterday.  Please bring it back (signed) ASAP

Math– Toy Truck Assignment- task 1, 2, and 3 should all be completed by the end of Thursday (we plan to start building the truck on Friday)

Language– Analyzing Texts Culminating task rough draft due Thursday

French– verbs re-test tomorrow.  Please use the provided resources to prepare

History– Louis Riel essay draft proposal is overdue.  Please complete it tonight so you are ready to start writing tomorrow

Math- Toy Truck project.  Your rough work for task 1 should be complete.  We will start task 2 tomorrow

Science– bring your boat stuff for your demonstration tomorrow

Music– March Madness activity is due.  Please finish

*orienteering practice tomorrow after school (3-4:30)

Language– Analyzing Texts Culminating Task- please have your top three choices (of the type of text that you would like to create) for tomorrow

*Humans of Lawfield paragraphs due today

Math– Measurement Culminating task- One period to work on part 1 of your toy truck assignment.  Feel free to keep working on it at home, too

Science– bring materials for your boat by Friday

History – Louis Riel Essay Draft Proposal is now late. Please submit by Friday
